Pennsylvania misdemeanors are less serious offenses that are punishable by either jail time or fines. Common misdemeanors include prostitution, disorderly conduct, and shoplifting. Pennsylvania felonies are more severe crimes that often involve violence or serious psychological or financial harm to the victim, such as murder, rape, and aggravated assault.
Pennsylvania traffic violations include moving and non-moving violations such as speeding, fleeing law enforcement, and reckless driving. One of the more common traffic violations in Pennsylvania is driving under the influence (DUI). There are several factors that are considered in determining an appropriate custodial arrangement for the children, including the parents’ work schedules, the age of the children, whether daycare for the children is necessary, and which parent has been the primary caretaker for the children. The Court will also consider whether either party has a criminal history record, each parties home environment and whether either party has any issues with drugs or alcohol.
