Sheri D. Coover is a Family Law Attorney who joined the law firm of Coover & Scheidemann, P.C. in May 2014. She has lived in the Central Pennsylvania area throughout her life. After her own divorce, as a young mother of four children; she decided to return to school to further her education. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 2004. During law school, Ms. Coover was a member of the Dickinson School of Law Environmental Law Review. An article that she drafted entitled “Pennsylvania Anti-SLAPP Legislation” was published in the Winter 2004 edition of the Environmental Law Review.
Ms. Coover has provided representation to clients in the Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry, and York counties. She has provided representation to clients in criminal cases as well as social security and disability in the past; but at the present time, focuses her practice on family law. Her expertise as a single parent has helped her to relate to her divorce and custody clients compassionately.
Ms. Coover is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar Association and the Cumberland County Bar Association. She currently resides in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with her children and her pets.
